Avoriaz ski resort is perfectly situated right in the middle of the extensive Portes du Soleil ski area, which offers over 650kms of pisted runs that reach from France into neighboring Switzerland. The resort, with its charming wood clad buildings, is completely pedestrianised with many properties offering the benefit of ski-in ski-out. Like its neighbour Morzine, a ski holiday in Avoriaz will offer everyone the chance to learn skiing or snowboarding from scratch or alternatively fine tone existing abilities. Beginners will have access to wide easy slopes while Intermediate and Advanced skiers will never be bored with 6 Black, 15 Red or 24 Blue runs to explore. Avoriaz also offers excellent snowboard parks that will challenge all abilities. The Annie Famose Children's Village
We can mind children aged 3 to 16 years. From the age of three, a child will get used to his or her first skis, become self sufficient, and discover all the fun of snow. Children aged 6 + will be split into classes dependent on their skiing ability.
