Coupled with its excellent location and luxurious facilities, the Himàlaia is a great hotel for couples and families alike and offers great value too.
It is in an excellent location in Soldeu, only few steps from the gondola, with easy access to all the facilities the resort has to offer. The hotel is an obvious choice for those looking for a great location matched with great value.
Leisure facilities at the hotel means that guests can relax in the sauna or whirlpool, or even ease tired muscles by booking in a massage (reservation and payment locally). Toast to a great day on the slopes in the house bar, or catch up with news online with WiFi in the hotel lounge.
The hotel rooms are comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated and come fully equipped with all that you need to enjoy a woinderful stay.
Buffet breakfast is served each morning and a four course, buffet style, evening meal, with plenty of variet is available each day in the residence's dining room.

NURSERY
There are 4 nurseries for children aged between 12 months and 4 years, at Canillo, El Tarter, Soldeu and Grau Roig. The Soldeu, El Tarter and Canillo kindergartens only accept children over 24 months old. Children between 12 and 24 months old should go to the Grau Roig kindergarten. At these nurseries, qualified carers will look after the children in warm, comfortable surroundings, well equipped with everything they need to play and enjoy themselves whilst you are doing the same.

CHILDREN'S SCHOOL
The Grandvalira Ski and Snowboard School has programmes and specialised instructors for children from 3 to 6 years. We offer one-on-one or group classes, depending on the child's level. Private instructors are also available for those seeking to perfect their skills and increase their level, ensuring good progress. Inflatable objects and a variety of modules are installed in the learning areas to provide non-stop fun. Parents can watch their children progress from the terraces of nearby cafés and restaurants, which command full views of the snow gardens. Grandvalira contains five snow gardens: in Canillo, El Tarter, Soldeu, Grau Roig and Pas de la Casa.
