Arc 1800 is the perfect destination for those looking for a bustling ski resort with easy access to beginner and intermediate pistes, and a super vibrant après ski scene.
Step out of your accommodation and directly onto one of the many pistes surrounding the area of Arc 1800. There is an array of easy to intermediate runs nearby and for those looking for a more challenging experience, the Transarc gondola will bring you towards Paradiski’s more advanced runs. There’s also a fantastic freestyle park, L’Apocalypse, which lies just south of the resort – the perfect spot to hone your snowboarding skills!
The largest of the Arcs resorts, Arc 1800 is made up of four different pedestrianised areas: Charmettoger, Le Charvet, Le Chantel, and Les Villards, which is the resort centre where all the main amenities and services are located. Parents will appreciate the child-friendly resort, which offers a crėche for little ones aged 1 year and over, a ski kindergarten and a child-friendly ski school.
Stay in the spacious and comfortable surrounds of the 4 Star Edenarc Residence aparthotel, which is smack bang on the piste and a snowball’s throw away from the resort’s centre and ski school.
The après ski in Arc 1800 is known throughout Les Arcs. One of the liveliest resorts in the French Alps, it boasts an ambience so electric and a selection of pubs, bars and nightclubs so wide that you’ll never be stuck for somewhere to go after a day on the slopes! Fancy something more low-key? Explore the village’s various shops, take in a movie at the cinema, get a strike at the bowling alley, or simply sit back, relax, and watch the world go by – hot chocolate in hand – in one of the village’s many cafés.
The new Mille 8 entertainment hub at 1800 provides a superb experience for both children and adults. Enjoy a range of indoor and outdoor activities in this recently built winter wonderland, including an excellent leisure pool, a 900m long toboggan run, organised snowball fights, and a golf simulator!
