The pretty and peaceful resort of Plagne Soleil enjoys easy access to the snow paradise that is Paradiski, boasts exceptional views of Tarentaise Valley, and is the perfect ski spot for those looking for a more relaxed and tranquil ski holiday.
The ski in ski out resort sits right on the piste at a snow-sure altitude of 2050 metres. Not only does it boast its own practice areas for beginners and children, but advanced skiers will also take great pleasure in the resort’s two challenging black runs. Take the cruisey, blue run from Plagne Soleil to the La Bergerie lift or to the Boulevard lift in Plagne Centre, and from here, venture further into the idyllic, snowy terrain of Paradiski. Lovers of cross-country skiing will also enjoy the 5km route of Dou du Praz, which starts and ends in Plagne Soleil.
Although close to the bustling hub of Plagne Centre, Plagne Soleil is far enough away that it enjoys a more quiet and relaxed pace of life; ideal for families. You’ll find a number of fantastic bars and restaurants in resort, including Le Dou Du Praz restaurant, which offers some top notch French cuisine and breathtaking mountain views.

Visit one of the resort’s warm and welcoming bars for some laid-back, post slope fun. If a more lively ambience is what you’re after, head along to Monica’s pub, a great spot for a vibrant atmosphere and fantastic live music. Care to venture further out? Take the free shuttle bus to Plagne Centre for more après ski options. Other activities available in Plagne Soleil include winter hiking and snowshoe tours.
Perched at the top of the Plagne Bellecôte glacier, you’ll find Grotto de Glace. A great day out for little ones and bigger ones alike, this magical ice world is an experience not to be missed, with spectacular ice caves and sculptures that will not disappoint.
